Enjoy scenic vistas as you drive to Mdina, the old medieval capital of Malta. On the trolley train, you’ll learn about the rich history, culture and architecture of Mdina, Mtarfa and Rabat. You’ll pass the famous Roman Catacombs and St Paul's Church, built above a grotto where St Paul is said to have taken refuge after being shipwrecked. In hilltop Mtarfa, marvel at the recently restored clock tower, then make your way across the old Notabile Railway bridge and up to Greek Gate's tunnel. Explore atmospheric Rabat on foot, then enjoy time in Mdina to buy local craft or relax in a café.
