Step back in time at a collection of important historical sights, as you uncover the many secrets of Old Manila.

Settle in and enjoy the scenes along Manila Bay, on Roxas Boulevard. This 10-kilometer-long waterfront promenade will take you right into the heart of the old Spanish walled city – Intramuros.

Within these ancient walls, you’ll explore Fort Santiago with your local guide. Packed with history, this citadel served as headquarters to the military might of the Spanish, American and Japanese colonisers.

Next you’ll visit the country’s oldest surviving church, San Agustin Church and Monastery. Dating back to 1571, it features a high renaissance façade and beautiful tromp l’oeil ceilings, and boasts a huge collection of religious artefacts.

In Rizal Park you’ll make a photo stop at the Rizal Monument. This is the final resting place of Dr Jose Rizal, the country’s national hero.

On the way back to your ship, you’ll stop at the Manila Hotel. This five-star ‘Raffles-style’ hotel was once the most exclusive address in the Pacific, and served as General MacArthur’s HQ during WW2.
