Sit back and relax as you take a drive to Battery Park, where you’ll disembark and admire the lovely view of the Statue of Liberty.
Afterwards, you’ll continue on foot and follow your guide on a walking tour through the Lower Manhattan area, which is dominated by the Financial District and 9/11 Memorial. You’ll pass by the famous Wall Street and iconic buildings such as Trinity Church and the New York Stock Exchange.
You’ll stop at the 9/11 Memorial, which consists of 2 charming water features that sit within the original footprints of the Twin Towers. Here, you can view the memorial that poignantly displays the names of all those who lives were sadly lost.
Located within the memorial site is the One World Observatory building that soars to a height of 1,776 feet and has been officially classed as the tallest building in the United States of America. Your visit here will begin with an engaging video that offers an insight into the creation of the building. Next, you’ll step into one of the high speed elevators that will take you 102 storeys up to the observation deck in just 60 seconds. At the top you’ll admire fabulous 360 degree views of New York City.
At the end of your visit, you’ll rejoin your guide for the return drive to the ship.
