Enjoy the scenery of the lush countryside on the drive along ‘Panorama Road’ on the shore of the world-famous Nordfjord. Passing the picturesque settlements of Blakset, Fjelli and Hopland, you’ll soon head up into the mountains.
Stop off at the Nos Viewpoint for photos of the jaw-dropping vistas across the Nordfjord and the surrounding area. Below you is a sheer drop over 1,600 to the water. Will you dare to look down?
After soaking up more spectacular scenery during a stop at Kvalen, descend to Nordfjordeid village to enjoy tea, coffee and a Norwegian waffle. On the drive back to your ship, pass by crystal-clear Hornindalsvatnet Lake – northern Europe’s deepest at almost 1,700 feet.
