Countryside and Kinsale

There are picture-perfect views aplenty as you journey through County Cork. Cross landscapes of fields and flowers, emerge into lush valleys and pass waterways and villages, taking in the views over the Bandon River. Visit the pretty coastal town of Kinsale, an important naval base for over 300 years, which is reflected in the 18th-century buildings that stand alongside the more recent Georgian homes and Dutch-influenced architecture. The quaint town has won an array of tourism awards and is known for its excellent restaurants and pubs. A stop will be made at Charles Fort located above Summer Cove for fantastic views over the harbour.
