Venture deep into the mountainous area of Sete Cidades and meander through enchanting forest trails, surrounded by volcanic cones and a multitude of charming lagoas, or lakes. You’ll encounter Lagoa das Éguas, Lagoa Rasa, and Lagoas Empadadas, each more picturesque than the last, as you soak up sweeping panoramas of the lush foliage and rugged seascapes. Afterwards enjoy a short stop in charming Sete Cidades village, before stopping at the spectacular Vista do Rei viewpoint to marvel at the legendary Sete Cidades crater and its mystical lakes – one turquoise and one emerald.
