Note how these extraordinary landscapes change, with lush greenery giving way to striking moonscapes. Stop at Nez de Boeuf for a view into the deep volcano ravine. Continue on to Pas de Bellecombe at 7,000 feet and gaze in wonder at Piton de la Fournaise. Enjoy a Creole lunch at a local restaurant, before visiting the interactive museum La Cité du Volcan to learn more about this awesome natural phenomenon.
