Archipelago by Zodiac

Just a 10 minute walk from the pier will take you to the ‘Zodiac’ boarding point, where you’ll set off on around the St Lawrence archipelago. As you zip through the water, enjoy the natural surrounding beauty and look out for the local marine and birdlife.

You’ll navigate around Manowin Island which owes its name to the Innu word meaning ‘where we collect eggs’. The island is known for its unique bird-nesting cliffs and limestone rock formations. You’ll also pass by Petite Basque and Grande Basque which were named in honour of the Basque people, who for more than one hundred years came to the region to hunt.
Along the way, you’ll discover interesting facts and learn of the shipwrecks in the area, Le Corossol and the Jean-Marc Soucy.
