Lose yourself in the whitewashed village of Taganana, nestled in the emerald Anaga Rural Park, which flows down the mountainside towards the ocean. If you fancy a walk, follow your guide up to the simple-but-pretty church. Feeling peckish? Taste local cheese and wine at a restaurant in town.

Your final call is a stop at the Pico del Ingles viewpoint, carved into the side of Las Mercedes mountain. If the weather permits, from here you can gaze out at the breathtaking views of the north and south side of Tenerife.
