Begin with sweeping views from Terrazzino Belvedere, then wander through the Old Town of Rione Monti, home to more than 1,000 trulli; many are still used as private homes, while others now host artisan shops, cafés and boutiques.
Your guide will share how these unique homes were cleverly built without mortar in the 16th century, allowing locals to dismantle them whenever tax inspectors appeared, and then rebuild them.
Explore the charming lanes, and the striking Saint Anthony’s Trullo Church, whose soaring 20‑metre‑high conical roof makes it one of the village’s most eye‑catching landmarks.
