Enjoy an enchanting reindeer ride through picturesque scenery and discover the Sámi culture.
A heartfelt greeting awaits you at Arctic Reindeer Camp where you’ll meet local Sámi (indigenous people of Scandinavia). The reindeer will be resting nearby and, as you’re introduced to the gentle animals, your host will explain all about the Sámi way of life and the important role that reindeer play within it.
After a safety briefing, it’s time to climb aboard the sledge and set off together into the wintry wilderness. Pulled by the beautiful animals, you’ll glide through pure-white blankets of virgin snow with a stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains and trees.
Back at camp, the fire will be roaring in the lavvu (like a tepee) where you’ll be served a delicious traditional Sámi lunch.
