Your tour begins at La Vernière, the second largest wooden church in North America. The wood used in its construction was retrieved from shipwrecks and had to be blessed before being used. The church was completed in 1876 and has since survived several lightning strikes.
Visit a local microbrewery for a tasting of 2 of their products, brewed with locally grown ingredients and admire the views of the beach of la dube de l'ouest before stopping at Site de la Cote for some free time.
Drive along the spectacular north coast to Borgot Lighthouse. Perched on incredibly steep and jagged cliffs under constant barrage by the sea the observation deck affords wonderful coastal views and no visit to the island would be complete without seeing it.
