When to book on board activities

Most on board activities don’t need to be booked; you can usually attend activities like dance lessons, sporting activities, theatre shows and pub quizzes without booking, and turning up on the day. These are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s best to arrive early for popular sessions.

You can find out what events are happening on each day of your cruise by viewing your daily Horizon paper, which you will be delivered outside your cabin each evening.

If you’re sailing on Arvia or Iona, there are some events that are available to book before your holiday, such as Skywalk or The Control Room. Make sure you log in to My P&O Cruises before you sail and take a look at what’s available. Entertainment is available to book 14 days before your holiday.

Please note: The Cookery Club and The Limelight Club are avaliable on Britannia.

Please note: You’ll need to book and pay for some experiences. This includes speciality dining, drinks packages, shore experiences and spa treatments, if they’re not included in your fare.
