Experience Details*
Your tour begins at the Hellesylt Waterfall, where water cascades between two bridges over polished granite stones. Passing the majestic mountains, picturesque lakes and summer farms of the Nordang Valley, you’ll pause at historic Øye, home to the famous Union Øye Hotel, established in 1891. Nearby, an eerie sight awaits at Lake Lyngstøylvatnet. A rockslide in 1908 caused the river to re-route and leave the lake behind. In its clear waters you can clearly see the remains of the old road and farmhouses. Move on to Ljøen to enjoy the breathtaking view of the UNESCO World Heritage Natural Site, Geirangerfjord.
